unbeatable social how to achieve the greatness within you october 9, 2018 by admin leave a comment so i believe every single one of us was born with the desire to be great and the capacity to be great but very few people ever get there. abraham maslow talked about a series of human needs. we start our focus on security needs. when you’re in a war zone bullet firing all you care about is having safety, then when you finish getting focused on that you start focusing on physiological, food and water. next on the pyramid you start focusing on love and belonging, being a member of the community, having friends, building relationships and then you start focusing on self esteem needs. achieving, being special, someone in society, degrees, medals, accomplishment, respect, finally we focus on self actualization at the top of the pyramid we hit the need of reaching our full potential of being all we can be. now maslow talked about the fact that actualization is different for every person. for some people it’s being a great mom, others its being a great entrepreneur, others being a great lover to their partner, being a great gardener, an artist, a musician, business builder an empowerer of people. it’s different for all of us. but the key philosophy is that every moment we have a chance to step forward into growth or back into safety. so if you think about your life, every moment, as you’re reading this, as you go about your day, you’re presented with tiny micro decisions, to honor the greatness within yourself and step one step closer to your highest potential or take a step back into safety. as we go through a day, it’s like collecting these little plus ones and minus ones. at the end of the day, our unconscious mind has sort of a computer that knows we could have been here, but we’re actually here and the gap between where we are and where we could be, our potential and where we actually are, is the space in which disillusionment, unhappiness and dissatisfaction lies. the reason people want to crack open a bottle of wine or a beer and turn on the tv at the end of the day, yell at their spouse or find a way of distracting themselves is to escape the pain of the potential that’s been unfulfilled throughout the day. as we grow more and more it feels incredible as we hit those deeper, more spiritual needs to be great, to grow, to contribute beyond ourselves, that make us feel fully alive and fill that hole that we feel as human beings when we know we’re turning away from the greatest version of ourselves that we can only full with distraction and stimulation and consumerism for so long before we go crazy because the craving deeper meaning, that biblical line, without a vision people perish. so you have to ask yourself if we all desire this need for self actualization. and it’s like so emotionally fulfilling to have and so exasperating to miss. it’s like being spiritually sick, exhausted, when you step further and further away from what we could have achieved with our life. why do so few people hit their highest potential of what life could be? why is there such a big delta between where we are and where we could be? why is the graveyard the biggest place of unfulfilled human potential and the reason is because if you don’t know your outcome number one, you can never get there. so you can’t achieve your greatness, your vision of what the actualized you looks like until you have an idea of what you’re actually trying to do with your life, trying to do with your day. one of the most powerful principles i discovered when exploring the success field is you want to know your outcome in every situation. that will provide a lot of clarity on what you want to do, if you had a fight with your partner and in the middle of that fight in the middle of the argument you ask what’s my outcome, it’s probably not going to be to fight, it’s going to be to resolve this or to connect with this person and that will change your approach because you changed your outcome. so when we know our outcome that gives us direction, most people never actually hit their full potential because they don’t even know what they’re trying to actualize into. so this goes into a deeper discussion i talked about in my post on how to stop procrastinating or how to find your life purpose of the process here. essentially you want to find out what greatness, what the actualize potential of your life looks like, by getting rid of the how question and asking the why question. so we block our hearts, deepest desires, and what our life really should be about because we go, oh, that’s impossible, i couldn’t do that. you can see a dip path there, brendan bouchard, has a video how incredibly successful people think he talks about most people that they go, oh, want to do this big goal. like he trains people in speaking authorship or to be experts what he calls so thought leaders, which is somebody helps educate people on how they could be getting more out of life or to share strategies on how we could hit more of our full potential. that kind of career, a lot of people had self image issues on them if it going into that space. and they also have the thing of i really want to do that that feels like a deeply meaningful career. but i can’t see a bridge to get there. i deal with the problem all the time with them. i do business building, particularly focusing on chiropractors at the moment, but will be into moving any business at geometrically by working the leverage points or the impact points in the business. and you have to fully explain the how the reason, the logic and examples behind any way people could be achieving more out of life. because as soon as someone goes, that’s a cool vision, but i don’t know how to do it, the how question immediately stifles the ability to start taking action, because if they’re at step one, and they had the vision of what step 18 could look like, very exciting, but they don’t see skip 17, 16, 15, 14 all the way back to one in they can see the path there very few people take action. so immediately when you go, okay, what’s or 10 years goal, i could be a surgeon with doctors without borders, i could work in third world countries, we could build businesses and then get the money to cancer prevention or all the things that could steal your soul you’re going to get home i to do that i can see the power to do that. that’s impossible before you even find out what you do want out of life. so if you do a goal setting workshop or find a way to discover your life purpose, you want to get rid of how do things from a state of total expectancy like a kid before christmas morning or how to stop procrastinating and find your life purpose towards deeper about that. but essentially, you find your outcome in life by a combination of experimenting with different options, little small bits and mass exposure and what you find most fulfilling as a career. so if you imagine you’re at las vegas in at big buffet table, and someone seems pick one food and eat it for the rest of your life and you like i’m a baby have been born from mars or never tried food on earth, then they say, okay, this is big buffet, you can choose seafood, salad, burgers, fries, steak you can be a vegetarian, vegan, pick one meal eat forever, you’re not going to know what to pick into your tried and sample a lot of dishes. the other method is of course the finding out what would stare in your soul to go through a process from the state of expectancy like i talk about. but if you get clear on what self actualization means to you, which is normally a vision beyond yourself, then make your life meaningful and part of a greater cause they’re going to be very, very fulfilling and help you on that journey. the second thing you need to do is once you get a clear idea of where you want to go now you want to get strategic. so most people in business in life operate technically, not strategically, and marketing or business they go what’s this o
